Cancer Survivor Care at Saint Alphonsus

After cancer treatment, survivors often need care to help them heal and manage physical and emotional changes. Our STAR Program® Certification allows us to provide complete care for cancer survivors.

Our Commitment to You

At Saint Alphonsus, we focus on helping people after cancer treatment, not just during it. This stage is called survivorship. We provide each patient with a care plan to support their recovery.

Our STAR Program® includes:

  • Special training for staff in cancer recovery care
  • Treatment plans based on proven research
  • Care that helps survivors heal and regain strength

Care Covered by Insurance

We are the first healthcare facility in Idaho certified in the STAR Program®.

Our program:

  • Helps patients recover physically and emotionally
  • Supports people during and after treatment
  • Offers services that are usually covered by health insurance

This means you can receive high-quality care without extra financial stress, so you can focus on getting better.

Helping You Recover and Feel Better

Cancer and its treatments—like chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery—can cause lasting side effects. These may include:

  • Fatigue (feeling very tired)
  • Weakness
  • Trouble sleeping

Our program helps you recover more fully so you can return to normal daily activities and enjoy a better quality of life.
