Cancer Support Center
The Cancer Institute offers many support services to help care for you during treatment. Treatments like radiation, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy work to fight cancer in your body. Along with these, we also offer additional therapies that help support your body, mind, and emotions.
We provide programs that focus on healing and self-care. These include stress-reduction classes, gentle yoga, massage, creative activities, guided relaxation, and counseling for patients and families.
Talking with others who understand what you are going through can help you feel better. Our support groups give helpful information and a safe, caring place to share your experiences.

Life After Cancer Treatment
Living with cancer, during or after treatment, can feel overwhelming. You may wonder:
- “When will I feel like myself again?”
- “Why don’t I have the same energy as before?”
- “How can I take care of my body and mind now?”
You’re not alone. Many people face these challenges. That’s why we create Nourish and Flourish — a supportive program for anyone affected by cancer who wants to heal and move forward.
This group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m., and includes two types of sessions:
- Flourish in Survivorship: A class focused on improving physical and emotional health. You’ll learn ways to stay active, reduce stress, and feel more balanced.
- Nourish Your Body: A cooking class led by a dietitian. You’ll learn how to prepare simple, healthy meals to support your recovery and energy.
No matter where you are in your cancer journey, this program offers helpful tools and a chance to connect with others.
