Family Medicine Providers with Obstetric Care

Some of our Family Medicine physiciansalso provide pregnancy and delivery care. These providers care for the entire family, including mothers, babies, children, and adults.

They offer:

  • Prenatal visits
  • Care during labor and delivery
  • Postpartum care after childbirth
  • Ongoing healthcare for both mother and baby

Choosing a Family Medicine provider allows you to receive maternity care and long-term medical care from the same healthcare team.

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs)

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are registered nurses with advanced training in women's health and pregnancy care.

Our midwives provide:

  • Care for low-risk pregnancies
  • Support for natural childbirth
  • Prescription services

Midwives work closely with OB/GYN physicians and can refer patients if surgery or a C-section becomes necessary.

OB Hospitalists

OB Hospitalists are doctors who specialize in caring for patients in the hospital during labor and delivery.

They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and may:

  • Assist during emergencies
  • Provide care if your regular provider is unavailable
  • Help with deliveries or C-sections when additional support is needed

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists

Maternal Fetal Medicine Providers specialists care for women with high-risk or complicated pregnancies.

These physicians have advanced training in managing conditions that may affect a mother or baby during pregnancy, including:

Neonatologists
