Bariatric Surgery Success Rates & Clinical Outcomes
The Saint Alphonsus Metabolic and Bariatric Center is recognized as a Comprehensive Center by the American College of Surgeons. This accreditation means we meet the highest standards for safety and quality in weight loss surgery.
Our program meets or exceeds the standards set by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). To learn more about MBSAQIP, visit facs.org.
We offer several weight loss surgery options to meet each patient's unique needs. These include:
- Gastric sleeve surgery (sleeve gastrectomy): This procedure removes part of the stomach, helping patients feel full sooner and eat less.
- Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery: This procedure creates a small stomach pouch and changes the digestive system so food bypasses part of the stomach, helping patients lose weight and improve obesity-related health conditions.
Our team works closely with each patient to help them choose the treatment option that is right for them.
