Breast care is an important part of women’s health. Regular mammograms and breast exams can help find changes early, when treatment may be more effective.
The Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center’s Comprehensive Breast Care Program is designed to support people in Idaho and Oregon who have questions or concerns about breast health, breast conditions, or breast cancer. We provide a full range of services, including prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment—all in one place.
American College of Radiology Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Centers

Saint Alphonsus is accredited by the American College of Radiology and recognized as a Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center. This means our staff and equipment meet high national standards for breast cancer diagnosis and care. Our team members are properly registered or certified and have extensive training in breast care and mammography. We also use advanced digital imaging equipment to provide clear, accurate images while keeping radiation exposure as low as possible.
Women age 40 and older should have a screening mammogram every year, or younger if they have a family history of breast cancer. A mammogram is a low dose X ray of the breast used to check for signs of disease, even when there are no symptoms. This common screening test can find breast cancer early, when it is most treatable.
