After You Start
Welcome to Saint Alphonsus, we are glad you’re here!
Your first week will include many different activities, including a national orientation, multiple virtual trainings, and department specific orientation, which may be on-site. You will be paid for all time spent on orientation and training activities. Your manager should contact you prior to your start date with instructions on where and when to report for your first date.
Along with these experiences, you’ll need to complete a few important tasks during your first week. Use this page to guide you, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to your manager with any questions!
If you need technical assistance at any step along the way, Trinity Information Services (TIS) is available to assist! They can be reached at 1-888-667-3003.
Important Tasks
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a technology we use to verify your identity when you need to access company sites and apps from a personal device. It’s important to have this in place prior to or by the end of your first day. Click here for a Job Aid to set up MFA. If you are onsite, you can visit the Help Me Connect site for more resources.
All colleagues are required to have (and wear) an ID badge issued by our Security department. Getting your badge is easy – just a 10 minute appointment with our Security Team which you can click here to schedule.
Important:
- Be sure to schedule an time that is on or after your start date. We cannot issue your badge prior to your first day.
- Don’t overlap your appointment with your in-person orientation. Work with your manager to address any scheduling conflicts.
- You can select any location that works best for you, regardless of your work location.
- You must bring your photo ID to your appointment.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late or are unable to attend your appointment, you will need to reschedule via the above link.
- Click here for a flyer with additional information.
Your manager should send you information regarding your department-specific orientation schedule. This is different from the National Orientation referenced below. Please reach out to your manager directly if you do not receive instructions prior to your start date.
On your first day of work, you will have a 2-hour virtual orientation to attend. This orientation will give you an overview of our Heritage, Mission, Core Values and Together Health strategy. It is presented via WebEx and is best viewed on devices with a larger screen. Your clearance email will include instructions on how to join.
If you aren’t able to attend the live session, there’s a recorded option available to you via our Learn Platform.
- Be sure to select “SSO Login” option and sign in using your network credentials and your employee ID
- Your network credentials are your 4x4 username which will be emailed to you by IT before you start
- Once you login, click on “Transcript” to locate the pre-recorded New Hire Orientation module
