Perinatal Mental Health Services

perinatal mental health

At Saint Alphonsus, we offer a perinatal mental health program called the PEACE Program (Perinatal Emotional Adjustment, Counseling, and Evaluation).

This program helps women and families handle emotional challenges during pregnancy and after a baby is born. It teaches skills to manage depression, anxiety, stress, and self-confidence. Counselors also explain why these feelings happen, including both emotional and physical (biological) changes, so families can better understand what they are going through.

Conditions We Help Treat

  • Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders
  • Depression
  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
