Saint Alphonsus CARE Clinic offers group prenatal care to families who have arrived into the United States through the refugee resettlement program. Patients who choose this model for prenatal care meet every other week in a group setting facilitated by a nurse and social worker, while also seeing their midwife individually.
The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group International Clinic is committed to providing an integrative model of primary care that addresses the physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs of culturally and linguistically diverse populations. The International Clinic is dedicated to providing trauma informed, culturally responsive, and linguistically appropriate care for all families who are seen.
In 2015, The Center for Global Health & Healing expanded services to the community by starting the Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT). For survivors and their families, PSOT offers interdisciplinary and integrative services to help address the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual impact that torture and trauma has on the person.
Health Advisors are multicultural, multilingual individuals trained to assist families resettling in the U.S. to navigate the healthcare system. Health Advisors seek to increase access to culturally responsive, linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed care by servicing as cultural mediators and care coordinators.
