About

Philosophy of Care

My initial exposure to the medical field was in my maternal grandfather's dental office in Nampa on 12th and Hawaii. I saw how he used both his education and his dexterity to improve the lives of his patients. My paternal grandfather was known in the Nampa community for both his kindness and business acumen. When I graduated from Centennial High School, I decided to follow the examples of my grandfathers, and use my education, dexterity and compassion for others. During my studies at Brigham Young University, I discovered the field of podiatry. Podiatry would allow me to care for patients directly by alleviating pain by both non-surgical and surgical means. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I graduated from podiatry school in Iowa, and received additional training in a 3-year surgical residency in Pennsylvania. I work to provide my patients with compassionate podiatric care, and have found great satisfaction in alleviating pain, often on the first visit. Following in the footsteps of my grandfathers, I am honored to continue to provide excellent care to patients in the Nampa area.

Dr. Yorgason was so easy to work with, his humor put me very much at ease. He directed me as to what to do to relieve my discomfort. Not realizing it at the time, but I know he must have done some manipulation on my toes. I could not believe that evening how much better my foot felt.
