Philosophy of Care

I believe in building a solid relationship with my patients by working as a team to improve both physical and mental health, and I feel honored that they choose me to care for them. I strive to always be present with my patients, by listening to their concerns, and providing them the most up to date evidence-based medical care. I feel blessed that I get to practice medicine as a physician assistant and have the opportunity to encourage and promote better health for my patients.

Amber Hackenberg is an amazing, knowledgeable, caring and professional provider. I have seen her for approximately 4 years and have always walked away from the appointment feeling comfortable with the level of time, compassion, wisdom and medical treatment recommended. Amber is an asset to Trinity Health and to Idaho.

It was a rushed appointment, and even though I had a couple more questions there was not time. Amber is very good at what she does, but I suspect recent changes in how the office is run now prevent her from providing the same level of attention she has given in the past.
