About

As an experienced physician in osteopathic medicine, Dr. Johnson seeks to treat the entire patient and is skilled at practicing preventative and comprehensive medicine. He values building a solid, healthy relationship with his patients and has received awards for excellence in leadership. Dr. Johnson enjoys providing full-spectrum medical care to all patients with experience in prenatal care, chronic disease management, and acute care. As a father of four and a committed husband, he knows the value of all family members and believes in providing the highest quality care to all of his patients.

Philosophy of Care

I chose to practice family medicine because I wanted to care for patients on the front lines of medicine. I have the opportunity to team up with people of all ages, interests, and backgrounds, managing their chronic diseases; providing up-to-date, evidence-based care; and encouraging healthy living and preventive practices. I believe that is the best medical care, when BOTH the patient and the provider understand each other and work together to stay healthy.

Dr. Johnson encouraged me to cut back on my smoking, without being too pushy. I was successful in cutting back to 2 cigarettes/day, which lowered my high blood pressure to normal. Hopefully I'll be cigarette-free soon.
