I chose to be a physician because it combines my interest in the medical sciences with the enjoyment of meeting and working with new and colorful people every day. The goal for my patient is to be treated with the best available medicine, using the best known evidence, at the lowest possible cost.

I have known Alex since he moved to Boise, probably about 15 to 20 years ago. He has always been an outstanding cardiologist in my opinion. I previously had Steve Writer who I also think is excellent but when he retired, I had no concerns about transitioning my cardiology care to Dr. Johnson.

Staff was kind and courteous and very thorough. No one rushed you or made you feel like an inconvenience every question or concern I had was addressed and answered completely. Follow up care was completely explained, and I was given the opportunity to ask more questions before I left. The entire office made sure that every need I had was met. Every concern I had was addressed, and every question I had was answered.
