Adult Unit
The Adult Unit is designed for adults experiencing a mental health crisis who need extra support and close monitoring.
- Average hospital stay is 5 to 6 days
- Focuses on helping patients become stable and safe as quickly as possible
- Helps connect patients with outpatient providers for continued care after they leave the hospital
Children's Program
The Children's Program is for patients 12 years old and younger who need hospital care for a mental health crisis. s.
- Children stay in a unit that is separate from adult patients
- Focuses on safety, support, and crisis stabilization
- Average hospital stay is 6 to 8 days
Services Included in All Inpatient Programs
All patients receive personalized care that may include:
- Medical evaluations
- Psychiatric evaluations
- Social and emotional assessments
- Medication management
- Group therapy and therapeutic activities, such as recreation, art, and discussion-based therapies
- Discharge planning to support a successful transition home
- Additional specialty consultations, when needed
- Chaplain services for spiritual support
- Education and resources for patients and their families
