Highly specialized and collaborative approach
Skull base surgery addresses tumors and other abnormalities on the underside of the brain or base of the skull. Procedures draw expertise from a variety of specialties to reach these areas without having to cut through the skull or damage important nerves and vessels that exit the brain. Accessing these areas often include approaches through the nose, eyelid, forehead, or above and behind the ear.
