Memory Center
The mission of the Saint Alphonsus Memory Center is to help our community achieve and maintain the best possible brain function through a compassionate, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary approach to dementia prevention, treatment and education.
The Saint Alphonsus Memory Center helps people maintain the best possible brain health through expert care, education, and support. Our team works together to help prevent, diagnose, and treat memory problems and dementia in a caring and compassionate way.
It is normal to occasionally forget things or misplace items. However, memory loss can sometimes be a sign of a more serious condition, such as Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia. In some cases, memory problems may be caused by treatable conditions, including:
- Medication side effects
- Vitamin or nutritional deficiencies
- Thyroid disorders
- Depression
Finding and treating these causes early can help improve memory, brain health, and overall quality of life.
The Saint Alphonsus Memory Center provides thorough evaluations to identify the cause of memory loss. Our team can help patients access the latest testing and treatment options and may recommend enrollment in our comprehensive Brain Health Program.
Through the Brain Health Program, patients work with a team of specialists to create a personalized care plan. The plan focuses on each person's strengths and addresses health conditions, risk factors, and other issues that may affect memory and thinking.
