Right Place, Right Time
Description: Improving electronic health care information presentation to support patient care is a crucial patient safety priority. This project involves a user-centered approach to support the development of design guidelines and design concepts to better organize, prioritize, and present acute care electronic patient information. The results of this project can be applied to the design of future electronic health records so that important data are not missed and can be accessed more easily and quickly, resulting in a significant reduction of preventable adverse events in the intensive care unit and other care settings.
