As a board certified family physician, Dr. Walizada believes in providing a physician-patient relationship that fosters trust and open communication. She takes the time to get to know each patient, understanding their wellness goals and helping them improve their health in ways that fit their lifestyle and background. She's an avid volunteer and stays highly involved in the community she proudly serves.
Philosophy of Care
Treating the patient as a whole, respecting the body's self-healing ability, and understanding the patient's physical, social, and psychological aspects of life are important to me. Listening to my patients' concerns and encouraging them to actively participate in their care are essential to my practice. As a primary care physician it is important that my relationship with my patients is based on mutual respect, open communication, education, and shared decision-making.
