I discovered Idaho in 2017 after a 25-year Navy career took me to Idaho Falls, ID with HCA Healthcare as a chief medical officer. Career progression transferred me away from Idaho to Charleston, SC, then Bradenton, FL, and now 7 years later, we are elated to be back in Idaho. As a native of Asheville, NC, our family enjoys many similarities between the two areas.

I’ve been fortunate to have had a wide-ranging career: public service, executive medicine, and in the private sector. Each experience has afforded personal and professional growth. There is rarely a day that passes that I don’t learn something from my patients and colleagues. Obstetrics and gynecology is a continuum of care across years and generations.

Although I’ve delivered thousands of babies, each experience is uniquely different and rewarding. Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is my passion. Urogynecology for incontinence and prolapse, infertility optimization, peri and postmenopausal care, and women’s primary care are accompanying and foundational offerings.

When not enjoying time with my wife and two adult children, I avidly pursue skiing, cycling, wood working, home renovation, travel, and community volunteering.

Note: Although this provider practices at multiple locations, deliveries are performed only at our Boise hospital, allowing patients to benefit from dedicated maternity resources and specialized care.
