Michael Wheaton, MD is a board-certified pediatrician who sees patients at the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Garrity clinic in Nampa. Dr. Wheaton is an experienced, accomplished, and published pediatrician with a history caring for a primarily Latino patient population. He is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and strives to provide his patients with a compassionate and personalized service.

Philosophy of Care

I strive to provide my patients with not only compassionate, personalized service, but also easier access to care. I always tell my staff, `You can't really schedule illness for the future.' If a parent is concerned and wants their child to be seen today, we should do everything we can to accommodate that need.

We love Dr. Wheaton. He is great with my kids. They warm right up to him. He is available to his patients and their worried parents. I feel confident in his advice, suggestions, and skill as a physician. I am thankful we can have the same position for all three of our kids.

Dr. Wheaton is an amazing provide! I am so grateful he oversees my kiddos care (two boys). He is always engaging with each child and takes his time to listen—I know how busy he is and he never makes us feel like he doesn’t have time for us. He is exceptional.
