Philosophy of Care
My approach to patient care is to be an "advisor" to the patient and their family to allow the patient to make informed decisions for themselves. I never like to tell patients what to do - I assist them in making their own decisions. This creates a "teamwork" approach that I have found works well. I give the patients as much information and education on the particular condition we are treating as I can.
