Philosophy of Care
Sometimes being human is just plain hard, and I like to work collaboratively with patients to assist them in utilizing their strengths to get through those rough patches. I draw upon evidenced based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and others to explore and create an individualized plan that is solution-focused and tailored to a patient's needs. I create a safe space that fosters personal growth and allows patients to feel heard and understood. We are all human, and sometimes we just need a little extra help to make it through.
