About

I am an Idaho native and grew up in Idaho Falls. I worked summers on the ranch in Teton Valley and attended Ricks College (Rexburg) and BYU. I attended my first year of medical school at University of Idaho, then completed and graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. I trained in orthopedics in Cleveland, then did a spine surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. I had over four years of active duty in the US Air Force, serving in Hawaii and Texas while deploying to Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, and the Gulf for Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was the Air Force Spine Surgery Liaison to the Surgeon General while on active duty. I then returned to Idaho in 2004 and was in private practice in Twin Falls for 20 years with satellite offices in Burley, Rexburg. I am married with six wonderful children and enjoy outdoor activities and family time.

The only complaint I have is having to wait in the exam room for over 50 minutes before seeing the doctor.
