Dr. Reising solved a problem that I had had for years and other doctors had passed off as something else. He listened to me and explained in terms that I could understand what my problem really was and then he fixed it! I was apprehensive about having surgery but his kind and gentle manner was comforting and I felt completely at ease. After the surgery he checked in on me and gave me his personal cell phone number and asked me to check in with him every day for a week and let him know how I was doing. If I had a question, he immediately responded.

Dr. Reising, showed genuine concern and patience while advising me through a 6 month process to prepare for surgery. I never once doubted the information or his expertise, confidence and ability to ensure I was safe, well informed and above all confident in the surgical procedure outcomes.
I found Dr. Reising to be very personable and interested in my situation,. After several weeks with many questions and few answers I finally felt heard and understood. He was very professional, explaining everything thoroughly and in terms I could understand. The tests, procedures, and appoints were scheduled in a timely manner which was important to me. Though this journey may be ongoing I feel comfortable and confident in his care.
I will follow the advice and instructions of my doctor during his care with me during my medical needs.

I am not a fan of his PA...I felt like she said the complete opposite of what Dr. Reising said. When I started discussing my issues with her, I felt like she acted everything was fine. Then Dr. Reising came into the room and treated it like it was of high importance.

My appointment was with dr. Reising. But i didn't get to see him. I saw a PA named Riley. I was not informed of this before my appointment. She consulted with him outside the room but he never came in. Very disappointed. I had questions she couldn't answer.

Dr. Reising and his staff are first class medical professionals. Dr. Reising was very kind and showed great concern for my full understanding of the process and procedures needed to treat and repair the hiatal hernia. Because of the severity of the hiatal hernia, and the displaced organs involved, the repair was considered difficult however Dr. Reising took the time to explain and answer all of my questions I may have had before and after the surgery. My recovery has been exceptional with no need for additional pain medication once I left the hospital. I would recommend Dr. Reising to any patient having these types of difficulties.
Dr. Chris Reising is the best doctor/surgeon I have ever encountered. He is skilled, trustworthy, and shows great care for his patients. I highly recommend him for any gastric/bariatric need(s) a person would have that requires surgery. I consider myself extremely BLESSED to have found him, and to be another patient he successfully helped get better.

Dr. Reising went out of his way to help me through this process. It was scary, after the [date] POEM surgery and the feeding tube was placed. It was also very overwhelming not knowing what my future was going to be like. He showed great concern for me, how I was feeling/doing, and very positive he would fix my issues. I actually felt bad for him because it seemed to way heavily on him that the POEM was not a success. And, from what I know, he has an excellent success rate! I was the first problem with POEM, and I was dealing with not only what is my future going to be, but feeling horrible that I had created such a concern for he and his staff. I could tell they were all pulling for me! I felt very cared for and that helped me when things got difficult which they did quiet often. Finally, we had the surgery on [date]. He fixed my issues, and I'm every so grateful to him, the awesome skills God has blessed him with, and the great personal care I received during this very scary time. There's not adequate words to really explain all that I feel, now, on this side of the experience!

Dr Reising & his staff are caring & friendly each visit & testing over several months. As an old nurse & very complicated patient, I am impressed & how thorough & methodical he has been to determine if I am a good candidate for reflux surgery .He didn't just say, you need surgery, I can do it. He determined that I don't need surgery or even meds for reflux, & it's not nearly as bad as I was told several yrs ago. We left smiling, & I am grateful for his dedication & hard work to give excellent patient care. I am thrilled that I chose to go to him for this problem.
