About

“I grew up in a rural farming community in Southeast Idaho, and as a lifelong small‑town Idahoan, I am proud to provide high‑quality foot and ankle care to the hard‑working communities of Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon. I was drawn to podiatry because of the essential role the feet and ankles play in maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

“I earned my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and completed my podiatric medical training at Des Moines University. Following medical school, I completed a rigorous surgical residency at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, where I received comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. Prior to relocating to the Treasure Valley, I practiced in Eastern Washington.

“My family and I are excited to be back in Idaho. I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children, and we love taking advantage of the many outdoor recreation opportunities that Idaho and the Treasure Valley have to offer.”

Philosophy of Care

“The foot and ankle are the foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle. I put an emphasis on conservative treatment to help patients get back to pain-free and functional activity. This conservative first approach helps patients take control of their health and well-being. I believe that the patient and physician should work together to determine the appropriate treatment plan for both conservative and surgical management of their foot/ankle pathology. I focus on educating my patients on the cause of their condition and providing them with up-to-date, evidence-based treatment options that align with their health goals. I look forward to helping you with any of your foot and ankle concerns.”
