Philosophy of Care

I believe that great medical care begins with a strong, trusting relationship. My goal is to be the kind of physician I would want for myself, someone who listens, respects your preferences, and works with you to solve problems together. I strive to provide care in a way that feels right for you, doing as much as I can for you and as little as I can to you, because often less is more. Medicine should be relational, not transactional, and I am committed to building partnerships that focus on your health and well-being.

Preventive care is a cornerstone of my approach. I want to help you stay healthy, not just treat illnesses when it happens. Together, we’ll focus on early detection, healthy habits, and personalized strategies to keep you feeling your best.

I also have a special interest in caring for older adults and helping them navigate the unique challenges of aging with dignity and confidence.

I have been working through pain over the past 20 years. Dr Vetter was helpful in moving treatment along to try another option to resolve my pain. I was disappointed with reaction about a new FDA med. Nonetheless we went with a method that has worked for other patients. Fingers crossed!

At check-in, it would have been nice to have been asked if I'd like to sit, rather than stand for awhile until I asked if I may sit, especially since I'm holding a cane, and the receptilnidt knew it would take a little time, need signature, etc.
