I had other issues besides doing the yearly wellness exam, and we ran out of time, so I didn't get all my questions answered, which was frustrating, but I do understand about the time constraints. Dr. Axtell is a compassionate provider. More so than what many of our doctors display these days. It seem all too mechanical, and there really isn't time anymore during a visit to get down to brass tacks before it's time to wind up the visit. It's a shame that our medical system has come to this. I'm 76, and I'm fearful of what our system is becoming. DR Axtell does her very best to be efficient with the time provided. She listens attentively, and right away seeks a solution, and looks for the next best step to take. I have a multitude of med problems at this point, unfortunately, but Dr. Axtell offers encouragement and solutions. Taking time to offer compassion and encouragement, I believe, is part of the healing process. I wish Doctors would be allowed to 'doctor' without interference from insurance company and hospital constraints. It's getting downright scary, and that doesn't help anyone's health journey!! I sincerely pray that we can get past the bottom line($$$) at some point, and start to care about 'healing' again! Thank you for indulging me for a moment!
