Philosophy of Care
We all go through challenging times, and sometimes those challenges strain our ability to cope. When that happens, seeking professional mental health support is important. I believe that therapy is designed to help provide insight, skills and perspective. My approach to therapy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused care. These approaches are helpful with treating anxiety, depression, life transitions and other concerns. I also have training and experience in treating eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns. Creating a welcoming and accepting therapeutic environment is important to me so that everyone can feel comfortable creating the change they seek.
