Philosophy of Care

I personally believe that every person needs a Family Medicine physician. Every individual need someone in their corner when “life happens”. I enjoy Family Medicine, as it allows me to perform small procedures and manage complex medical problems. I enjoy caring for both adults and children through all stages of life. I also feel that educating individuals about their health is an essential responsibility in my role as a physician. I believe that listening is a vital component to an individual’s overall health. As Sir William Osler, the father of modern medicine, once stated, “listen to the patient, he is telling you the diagnosis.

He listens and makes me feel very comfortable so that I’m not hesitant to tell him how I feel. Then he explains the choices I have and together we reach the one we think is best for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor. I feel very lucky to be able to make appointments with him.

Dr. Reno, Gives the patient time to listen and hear their medical struggles. He gives explanation and examples of why the patient is struggling with his health. He orders blood work to better understand what treatment will best work for his patient. He offers to answer and doubts or questions through the medical portal. He is a super doctor. I highly recommend him.
