About
Growing up in Utah, I developed a passion for a range of sports such as hiking and snowboarding. Time spent with my wife and two young children brings me immense joy. My fellowship training at TRIA Orthopedic Center in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Minnesota has provided me with the expertise to care for athletes across various levels, from professional Baseball and Hockey to D1 college football, along with weekend warriors and pickleball enthusiasts. My surgical residency was completed at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Orthopedic Surgery at Saint John Macomb Oakland Hospital Oakland Center.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in being honest and straightforward with my patients, providing them with research-supported options and guiding them in the decision-making process. There is a lot of information available to patients and it can be difficult to navigate and know what works and what does not. I see it as my job to help with this process. My goal is to enable patients to return to activities they enjoy, whether through recommendations on non-surgical management or surgical repair and reconstruction.
