Proceeds to benefit life-saving care at the Saint Alphonsus Heart Institute, the region’s largest and most advanced heart care program

Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees returns November 26-30 for its 41st year. The Treasure Valley is invited to kick off the holiday season with a beloved tradition that blends community spirit, creativity, and giving.

Festival of Trees Christmas

This year, the Festival will bring the magic to more people than ever with online bidding available for beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday décor. Supporters can bid beginning Wednesday, November 26 at 9 a.m. Large tree bidding closes Saturday, November 30 at 6 p.m. Wreaths, tabletops, and other décor items remain open until Monday, December 1 at noon. It’s a chance to bring a piece of the Festival home while supporting a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from the 2025 Festival will benefit the Saint Alphonsus Heart Institute, the largest and most advanced heart program in the region. With heart disease remaining the leading cause of death in the U.S., the Heart Institute provides life-saving cardiovascular care and pioneering procedures close to home.

New this year, attendees can also take part in the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Boise Dev, by voting for their favorite tree or display during the general exhibition. This interactive feature celebrates the creativity and heart behind each design and gives the community a voice in recognizing their favorites.

“The Festival of Trees is a treasured tradition that signals the start of the holiday season in our Treasure Valley,” said Jill Aldape, Vice President of Philanthropy at Saint Alphonsus Health System. “It’s the community that keeps this event thriving. From families who make it part of their annual celebration to the volunteers and generous sponsors who bring the magic to life, we’re grateful for the support that keeps the Festival part of so many holiday traditions.”

The Festival’s general exhibition features nearly 100 trees, more than 300 wreaths, and countless holiday decorations. Guests of all ages can enjoy the North Pole Village with Santa visits, a children’s scavenger hunt, the Talking Tree, art contest, gift shop, and live performances of music and dance. The week also includes a sold-out Gala and popular Fashion Show Luncheon.
