In my practice I try to emphasize three aspects of care: 1) The pursuit of an accurate and timely neurologic diagnosis, 2) the utilization of evidence-based medicine to develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and 3) a commitment to shared decision-making in which patient and caregiver preferences are highly valued.
