Neurological Rehabilitation Program
The Saint Alphonsus Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Program specializes in treating people recovering from neurological disorders. These include brain injuries, concussions, movement disorders such as ALS, Functional Neurological Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and vestibular disorders. Additionally, our team treats patients recovering from cancer post-surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
Our highly skilled Team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists work with patients and their families to maximize functional independence within their home, community, school, and work environments. There is no substitute for working with highly trained & experienced therapists. Our team averages over 15 years of experience and every member has advanced certifications. We are passionate regarding facilitating recoveries!
Neurological Occupational Therapy specializes in evaluating, treating, and restoring function in the home and community related to functional cognition, visual field deficits, upper extremity strength, movement patterns, and coordination. It also provides pre-driving clinical assessments.
Neurological Physical Therapy specializes in improving strength, movement patterns, and mobility. We prioritize balance, coordination, eliminating dizziness, and fluidity of movement. We individualize home exercise programs and recommend mobility devices specific to your needs.
Lymphedema Physical Therapy specializes in helping patients during their cancer treatments to enhance mobility, prevent/reduce/manage lymphedema, and reduce pain and fibrosis post radiation.
Neurological Speech-Language Therapy specializes in treating cognitive deficits including attention, executive function, memory, processing speed, and problem solving. Additionally, they treat language, speech, swallow, and voice disorders.

Meet Our Team
Heather Sullivan, OTR/l, is certified in LSVT Big, Neuro IFRAH, NMES, and Saebo hand orthoses. She is trained to complete Driving Risk Assessments.
Liz Armstrong, PT, DPT, is certified in Neuro IFRAH and has advanced training treating neurological conditions and providing wheelchair/mobility devices’ assessments.
Hanna Hanson, PT, DPT, is certified in LSVT BIG and has advanced training treating neurological diagnosis including concussion.
Karen Jones, PT, MSPT, is certified in PNF, vestibular rehabilitation, and cervicogenic headaches & dizziness. She specializes in treating patients recovering from neurological disorders; concussions; dizziness including cervicogenic dizziness; and headaches including migraines.
Michelle Harr, PT, DPT, is certified in lymphedema and dry needling. She specializes in treating patients with concussions, balance deficits, fall prevention, lymphedema, neurological disorders, and vestibular disorders.
Michelle Holt, PT, DPT, is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. She has advanced training including neuro physical therapy; concussion; balance and vestibular therapy; and cervicogenic dizziness and headaches. She is a Board Member of the Brain Injury Association of ID.
Jane Myers , PT, MSPT, is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and fall prevention. She specializes in treating balance and vestibular disorders.
Christine Olen, PT, MSPT, is certified in Vestibular Therapy and has advanced training in traumatic brain injury, and Functional Neurological Disorders. She specializes in treating patients recovering from brain injury and strokes.
Connie Simpson, PT, MSPT, has advanced certifications for AStym, lymphedema therapy, and vestibular therapy. She is highly experienced in treating vestibular and balance impairments and impairments related to cancer diagnosis.
Angie Abbott, MS,CCC-SLP, is certified in NMES and SPEAK OUT! Therapy. She has advanced training and specializes in treating cognitive-communication disorders and traumatic brain injuries.
Colleen Kendall, MS, CCC-SLP, is certified in NMES, Manual Therapy, and SPEAK OUT! Therapy.
Suzanne Neidermeyer, MA, CCC-SLP, is certified in NMES, FEES and Stroboscopy, Manual Therapy, Myofascial Release. She specializes in treating voice, swallow, and upper airway disorders.
Brittany O’Connor, MS, CCC- SLP, is certified in Manual Therapy, NMES, and SPEAK OUT! Therapy. She specializes in voice and swallow disorders.
