When a complex injury or illness of the brain or spine occurs, the diagnosis, treatment and caring support you or someone you care about receive, is crucial. That’s why our team of neuro, surgical, and trauma specialists work together to provide enhanced care for the most complex neurologic cases. So patients don’t have to leave the state when time is critical.
Complex neurological conditions can be life-altering for you and your family. Helping you navigate the path ahead, our multi-specialty team of neurocritical care experts and staff provide treatment for a variety of conditions, including:
- Acute ischemic stroke
- Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage
- Intracerebral hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrhage
- Traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries
- Brain tumors
- Recovering from neurological surgeries and/or complex ear, nose, and throat procedures
- Guillain-Barré syndrome, meningitis, and encephalitis
- Status Epilepticus
- Anoxic brain injury
Patient Care:
Our state-of-the-art Neuro, Surgical, Trauma ICU and Stepdown Unit is the first of its kind in the Treasure Valley. Adding 35 critical care beds with amenities that allow more flexibility for care providers and improved comfort for patients and their families – we’re providing critical care that keeps patients close to home, here in Idaho.
