About this event
Childbirth Preparation Lamaze 5 week SeriesBased on the Lamaze International Care Practices for Normal Birth, this comprehensive weekly course is designed to provide information on prenatal care, labor comfort, delivery and breastfeeding. In collaboration with your support team, learn skills necessary to make the best choices for your birthing experience.
Topics Include:
- Nutrition/Stretching/Physical Changes during pregnancy
- Stages of Labor
- What to expect and what to do during labor
- Interventions and Cesarean Birth
- Choices in Childbirth
- Massage/Breathing/Positions for labor and pushing
- Postpartum
The class, Breastfeeding for Beginners, is the 5th week of this series.
We encourage you to take this class in your third trimester (25-40 weeks). Please register as soon as possible.
Registration is per couple - please register for 1 person and we will reserve a spot for both of you.
Supplies: Please bring 2 pillows, a blanket and wear comfortable clothes for relaxation practice.

Refund Policy: No refunds are given for this class, unless it is canceled by us or you are unable to attend due to the early delivery of your baby. Otherwise, participants may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.
