Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
Welcome to the Outpatient Orthopaedic Rehabilitation at Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS). The outpatient Orthopaedic Program is located in nine convenient locations throughout the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and Caldwell.
The Orthopaedic Program at STARS is designed for those who require post surgical or non-surgical spine care, or for those that have sustained a hip fracture, joint replacement, amputation, or arthritic conditions resulting in challenges to mobility and independent living. STARS rehabilitation professionals have specialized training in the treatment of individuals with orthopaedic injuries. A complex array of functional capabilities is affected when an orthopaedic problem occurs. This can include mobility challenge, daily living deficits, recreational activities, vocational potential, and social relationships. If you begin your rehabilitation soon after your orthopaedic surgery or illness, you increase your chance for a more positive recovery.
The orthopaedic therapists will identify and work with each person's unique abilities taking into consideration any predisposed medical conditions. STARS therapists will assess your abilities and work with you to improve your function. They will help you regain mobility and meet the challenges of daily living.
