Who Needs Pain Management?

Anyone with persistent pain problems may be a candidate for this program. Excessive use of prescription drugs, depression, inability to perform work and irritability with family and friends often indicate a chronic pain condition. The sooner a patient can enter treatment, the greater the chance of full recovery and freedom from pain. Some of the most common conditions that require pain rehabilitation are:

  • Back conditions (with or without surgery)
  • Neck conditions
  • Cancer pain
  • Chest and abdominal pain
  • Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
  • Facet syndrome
  • Herniated disk
  • Joint pain
  • Major nerve injuries
  • Myofascial pain
  • Neurological pain
  • Painful extremities
  • Postherpetic neuralgia
  • Recurrent headaches
  • Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD)
