To schedule an appointment:
What to expect when scheduling an appointment
When you call to schedule an appointment, our intake
specialist will obtain a detailed medical history and ask you if you have
had a recent x-ray, MRI scan, or CT scan of your back or neck. After we gather
your information, a physician will review your medical history and films
(if available) and may recommend that you see a spine surgeon, pain management
physician, rehabilitation specialist, or primary care physician trained to
manage back and neck pain.
The physician may also recommend that you begin physical therapy with one of our network therapists though Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS). Our intake specialist will contact you within 72 hours with the physician’s recommendation and schedule an appointment with the appropriate physician. The intake specialist will provide you will educational information, help coordinate your treatment, and obtain an x-ray, MRI scan, or CT scan (if necessary) before your appointment.
If you are referred to the Spine Medicine Institute through your physicians, we will contact you to obtain your medical history and films within 24 hours of receiving the referral.
