The INI sponsors an internationally recognized brain and neural injury research
program. This program focuses on advancing knowledge of brain injury, plasticity
and repair, with the goal of continually improving patient care, outcomes and
support systems.
The INI research program is also committed to education, and fosters training
programs for student researchers by working in partnership with Boise State
University. Through this collaboration, many national scientific reports have
been presented, and the INI has been honored several times for Excellence in
Research. In addition, the INI sponsors educational symposia, providing classroom
instruction and community workshops.
