Why Become a Life Flight Member?

Depending upon the distance, air medical transport and patient-care charges can exceed $10,000. With a Life Flight membership you and your family can be transported free of charge, when medically necessary, by Saint Alphonsus Life Flight or any of our reciprocal partners in neighboring states. We bill your insurance company directly for the medical transport, so you will not pay any deductibles or out-of-pocket expenses beyond your membership fee.

Membership Overview
You can choose from a variety of membership options–one-year, two-year, five-year or a lifetime membership. A family membership covers you, your spouse (or domestic partner), and any unmarried dependents up to the age of 23 who you claim on your income tax return. Memberships obtained through an employer (Business Memberships) cover the employee only. Check with your employer to determine whether you may be eligible to participate in your employer’s business membership.

Membership Benefits

  • Members will not incur out-of-pocket expenses for medically necessary flights if flown by Life Flight or our medical transport partners in Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Washington and Wyoming.
  • At your request, Saint Alphonsus Life Flight will donate 10 percent of your membership fee to the local ambulance, fire department, first responder unit or other emergency-service agency you designate in our local Life Flight service area.
  • You will receive our Flightlines newsletter to keep you informed of what is happening with Saint Alphonsus Life Flight.
  • You will receive membership cards and stickers.

Life Flight is a member of the Association of Air Medical Membership Programs (AAMMP). Your Life Flight Membership will be honored for medically necessary air transports by the following reciprocating programs:
