Specialized Spinal Care Focused On Your Individual Needs

Although back and neck problems can be fairly common, they are never routine. Because they can be very painful and can impact your health and well-being, each condition we encounter at Saint Alphonsus is handled with special, careful attention. In other words, we treat your spine problem as a unique situation, because it is. That way we can determine the best course of care for your particular needs — care that's founded on experience and sound medical principles.

At the Saint Alphonsus Spine Care Center, we provide the latest diagnostics and medical treatments for virtually every spine problem. Some of the conditions we treat include:

  • Neck and back disorders
  • Herniated disks
  • Neck and arm pain
  • Fractures and stress injuries
  • Scoliosis and other deformities
  • Trauma and sports injuries
  • Spinal osteoporosis
  • Adult deformities
  • Vertebral slippage (spondylolisthesis)
  • Spinal stenosis / nerve-root compression
  • Infections and tumors of the spine

Advanced Spine Surgery Procedures to give you the relief you need:

No matter what your particular problem or what is at the source of your disorder or pain, we always take a conservative approach to your treatment. If your problem can be best-treated with medications or physical therapy, that's precisely what we'll recommend. But when it comes time to consider spinal surgery, we'll recommend — and perform — the safest and most effective spine surgical procedures available.

Today's medical technology has advanced to the point where many of the spine surgeries we perform can be done more quickly, more easily and with greater success than ever before. And whenever possible, we perform minimally invasive spinal procedures for less scarring and quicker recovery times.

Working with your doctor to bring you the best care.

For many of the spine surgery procedures we provide, we collaborate with local specialists to ensure your safety. But we also work with your doctor to make sure we're giving you adequate care that suits your medical needs. When your doctor refers you to us for your back or neck problem, or for spine-related extremity pain, we're always available to them for consultation about your case and to answer any questions. We also make sure that they're always informed about your condition and treatment, and we rely on their valuable input about your medical history
