Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Premature and critically ill babies need the very best care. Neonatal ICUs (NICUs) are special nurseries designed to care for these infants. Saint Alphonsus has two state-of-the-art NICUs in the Treasure Valley. Located in Boise, our Level III NICU, the highest level of neonatal care provided in the state of Idaho, provides 24 hour comprehensive specialty care for preemies as well as the sickest of full-term infants. Is it Urgent or an Emergency?
If your child needs to be seen right away and their doctor's office is not open, Saint Alphonsus has a variety of other options to help, including Express Care, Urgent Care, or in the case of an Emergency, one of our Emergency facilities. Inpatient Pediatric Services
Saint Alphonsus provides safe, secure and skilled family-centered nursing care to children from birth to 18 years of age.
Our nursing staff is trained to care for young patients, using specialized equipment whether the diagnosis is simple or complex. We are also available for patient and family education.
