Eric Johnson, MD
Dr. Eric Johnson is the Medical Director of the new Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Program. Initially boarded in Family Medicine, Dr. Johnson has practiced Emergency Medicine since 1989 at Saint Alphonsus and St. Luke’s, as well as Teton Valley Hospital in Driggs, Idaho.
He is an active scuba diving instructor, which first led to his now longstanding interest in Hyperbaric Medicine. With a long history of outdoor recreational activities, he has specialized in Wilderness and Environmental Medicine with significant experience in the sub-specialties of Altitude and Diving Medicine. He is an international author and speaker known for his expertise in Wilderness and Hyperbaric Medicine, and is published in numerous professional journals.
Dr. Johnson was featured in the 2006 “Everest ER” documentary for BBC and Discovery, and a documentary segment in the History Channel’s “I’m Alive” in 2010. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine and a past president of the Wilderness Medical Society.
Dr. Johnson is also a current member of the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society, the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.
Scott Lossmann, MD
Scott Lossmann, MD, graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ in 1999. He is board certified in Family Practice and has practiced in the Boise area for the past nine years.
His previous practice experience includes full scope Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Dr. Lossman is currently certified in Hyperbaric Medicine, and has now joined the St. Alphonsus Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic.
Cory Huffine, MS, RN, NP-C
Clinical Program Manager
Cory Huffine serves as the Clinical Program Manager of the Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Cory received his B.S. from Boise State University and his M.S. from the University of Southern Main. He is a family nurse practitioner, with experience in family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine and hyperbaric medicine.
In his free time, Cory enjoys such activities as running, traveling, hunting and fishing.
Andrea P. Gabica, MSN, RN, NP-C
Andrea Gabica has served as a bedside nurse for 12 years in a variety of settings. She received her BSN from Boise State University, followed by her MSN from the University of South Alabama.
She has now joined The Saint Alphonsus Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic. Her primary location of practice is Nampa.
In her free time, she can be found on the rivers and ski mountains of Idaho with her family and friends.
John Beidleman, CHT
John Beidleman has worked for over 12 years in Hyperbaric Medicine and has logged over 9000 hours as an In Chamber Tech. John has assisted with the planning, coordination, and construction of two multiplace hyperbaric and wound care facilities. In his free time, John enjoys scuba diving, mountaineering, fly-fishing and painting.
