| Saint Alphonsus Medical Center — Baker City is located in eastern Oregon, nestled in the foothills of the Elkhorn Mountains. Although we are a rural facility, we are well-connected to "the rest of the world." Excellently maintained even in the winter, Interstate 84 passes through Baker County, with three main exits serving Baker City.
To get to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center — Baker City, take I-84 exit 304, which will take you toward the center of town. Turn right on Campbell Street, past Main Street and through the residential area of historic homes.
Continue west until you reach 10th Street, then turn right (north) on 10th. Follow 10th (which was the Old Oregon Trail Highway) for approximately nine blocks until you reach Pocahontas (Hughes Lane). You will know it is the right road by the yellow traffic light hanging over the center of the intersection. Turn left (west) and go about a block.
