Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in our region offering MAKOplasty, a technologically advanced procedure for those with either non-inflammatory or inflammatory degenerative joint disease of the knee or hip, as well as those with painful early- to mid-stage osteoarthritis.

Surgery is performed with the surgeon-controlled RIO robotic arm system. Using this robotic technology, surgeons attain unparalleled precision, which results in optimal outcomes for our orthopedic patients. All partial knee and hip replacement procedures are performed at our state-of-the-art medical center in Boise, Idaho, by our team of highly trained orthopedic surgeons.
