Saint Alphonsus Health System

Obstetrics Hospitalists

Saint Alphonsus is the first in Idaho to offer an OB Hospitalist program and takes pride in providing this exceptional level of safe, high-quality care to patients. This is a special program to provide 24/7 hospital care for obstetric patients. Each of our OB Hospitalists is a board-certified obstetrician who oversees care for all patients admitted to Family Maternity Center in Boise. They work closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine to co-manage maternal transports, or patients who need to be transferred to Boise for a higher level of care, and high-risk patients. OB Hospitalists are available for precipitous deliveries or obstetric emergencies.
