Practice Opportunity Highlights

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 280 provider multispecialty group practice that seeks a residency trained Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician, who is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and desires to further develop an OB-GYN practice in a community significantly underserved by OB-GYN providers.

The SAMG Nampa OB-GYN practice is presently comprised of one SAMG employed board-certified OB-GYN physician (supported by an FNP in the clinic who also 1st assists in the O.R.). These providers require partners to support a rapidly growing practice which now includes the recent acquisition of a full and mature independent private practice. Consequently, this opportunity is essentially turn-key in nature.

Moreover, Saint Alphonsus Health System is investing $33.5 million in the Nampa community (pop. 83,000) to expand access and enhance medical services. As part of that investment - in late 2013 - Saint Alphonsus will open the Fredric Birkeland Maternity Center (a 20 bed obstetrics unit/LDR model with a spa-like feel and atmosphere). With the opening of the Maternity Center, the clinic practice will move from its current location across the street from the Nampa south hospital to the new center situated along Interstate 84, straddling the cities of Nampa and Meridian, proximal to the geographic population center of the entire Treasure Valley (650,000).

Requirements include a strong clinical background, surgical skills and experience; completion of an ACGME accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Training Program; and board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The opportunity also requires Idaho and Oregon licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Nampa and other system hospitals as needed to strengthen the Health System's OB/GYN program across all the communities we serve.

Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) is the regional leader in telemedicine innovation and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to integrate the use of telemedicine into his/her practice to coordinate referrals and consults within the network to include MFM, Neonatology and Gyn Onc, et al. subspecialties.
