Our Providers

Christian Zimmerman, MD, FACS, MBA

Dr. ZimmermanDr. Zimmerman has been practicing in the Treasure Valley for the past fifteen years. He attended medical school at the University of Maryland and completed his residency at Oregon Health Science University in Portland. Additionally, Dr. Zimmerman received his fellowship in Complex Spinal Disorders and Instrumentation from Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Zimmerman is board certified in both Neurological Surgery and Pain Management. In 1993, he co-founded the Idaho Neurological Institute at Saint Alphonsus and continues to serve as Chairman and Medical Director on the INI.

Additionally, Dr. Zimmerman was recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the top 100 Spine Surgeons in America. Physicians receiving this award underwent substantial review from other peers and outcomes research.

Dr. Christian Zimmerman specializes in neurosurgical care. Some of the conditions

Bruce J. Andersen, MD, PhD, FAANS, FACS

Dr. AndersenDr. Andersen is a board-certified Neurological Surgeon and Fellow of the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and his PhD, in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. His neurosurgical training was at the Medical College of Virginia and Oregon Health Sciences University and he was a Neurosurgical Fellow with the University of South Florida.

Dr. Bruce Andersen specializes in neurosurgical care. Some of the conditions treated and/or services provided include but are not limited to:
