Saint Alphonsus Health System is investing $33.5 million in the Nampa community to expand and enhance medical services. The investment is part of Saint Alphonsus Health System’s Mission of providing the highest quality care in the communities we serve. Approximately 500 construction jobs and 85 new full-time staff positions will be created with the Nampa expansion. Groundbreaking on the project is planned for this spring with completion expected in late 2013.
“The commitment of keeping care close to home is something Saint Alphonsus Health System will continue to support both financially and philosophically,” said Sally Jeffcoat, Saint Alphonsus Health System President and CEO. “Nampa Vision 2020 improves access to care, enhances quality and safety, promotes collaborating with physicians to coordinate care, and meets the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. We are proud to continue the 94 year heritage begun by the Sisters of Mercy in 1917 to serve the community, and provide hope and healing at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa and Nampa Health Plaza.”
