| Orthopedics is a comprehensive medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and diseases of your body's musculoskeletal system. This complex system includes your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves and allows you to move, work and be active. Your knees and hips have a wide range of motion and carry your full body weight which makes them susceptible to injury and arthritis.
Get the Relief You Need
Osteoarthritis or injury can cause severe pain in the hips and knees; reconstruction of those joints can be the best way to regain function and restore quality of life. The hip enables us to bend and straighten our body and move our lower limbs; the knee, the largest hinge-type joint in the body, is prone to injury. When either joint is severely damaged, activities such as walking or participating in sports can become impossible.
Because most orthopedic diseases and injuries require more than one form of treatment, our experienced experts work with you to develop a unique and individualized treatment plan. This comprehensive approach provides patients with the highest quality of care, from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation, allowing the patient to resume the activities they enjoy.
