Meet the Fellows

Michael P. Kennedy, MD
Fellowship Year: 2001
Dr. Kennedy attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI where he earned a degree in Biology. He then attended the College of Charleston/Medical University of South Carolina where he earned a degree in Cell Biology. From there he went to Wayne State University School of Medicine for medical school. His orthopaedic surgery residency was at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He completed a one-year fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle surgery with Dr. Coughlin in 2001.

Dr. Kennedy’s current clinical interests are in the treatment of arthritis and soft tissue injuries in the foot and ankle. Currently he is an adjunct team physician with a local high school, treating foot and ankle sports related injuries. He currently practices at Sports Medicine Oregon in Portland, OR.

Dr. Kennedy’s outside interests include hockey and skiing and big fan of the Oregon Ducks.
